mamayaya
I've been on tons of SSRIs (see siggy) and now take Paxil... Paxil has always been the default drug that 'kind of' works but has never really been the magic bullet, not even in combo with others.
MiaB
I know of a number of BP people for whom it's worked well, but I was one of the unlucky ones. It pushed me into an upwards spin and my pdoc took me off it after a few months. (I really loved it though, but it's obviously in my nature to think mania is fun!) So unfortunately I don't think there's a single right or wrong answer to this - you'll have to discuss it with your pdoc b/c s/he will know the in's and outs of your own flavour of BP. I'm sure you'll get good input from other people here, however.
resonance
I have heard that it is one of the less likely ADs to make bipolar people hypomanic/manic. Still - just less likely, not unlikely. It looks like you have not had that problem with some (though not all) of your other ADs. If not, that would suggest it's less likely for you personally as well. dangergirl
Ditto what Miab said - my doc had to take me off after 3 weeks. Resonance is right though, which is why my doc put me on it in the first place.
Rabbit37
It threw me into a mixed state (I seem to travel there often, no passport needed)... horrible anxiety, anger, rage. It didn't do anything for me, either. Bad stuff, at least for me.
