Anyone experience fatigue while on Neurontin??

I was on Neurontin for 6 months. I took 600 mgs in the morning, 600 in the afternoon and 1200 at night. I was also aneimic at the time. I got nothing done, barely did my job, and was a complete slug. It did wonders for my anxiety though, I never reacted to anything.

Finally after going in to my regular doc for the bazillionth time and annoucing that

Wow, I had a lot more fatigue on neurontin than you did!  I started with 300mg at night, then we tried to add a day dosage.  Just taking 100mg during the day rendered me unable to get off the coach--AT ALL!!  I tried it for one weekend and couldn't deal with it.  I couldn't stand up and slept the whole day (and I am a person who usually is absolutely unable to nap no matter how tired I get)  I also cried the whole time I was on it.  Did not like neurontin at all.  But I am weird and there have been very few drugs I can tolerate.  Whish sucks for me right now!

Hey, its me again, I made the above post.  If I reacted to neurontin so badly (my psychiatrist said it is the easiest to tolerate mood stabilizer-at the time it was dx'd for my anxiety) does that mean I probably wont be able to tolerate any of the mood stabilizers?

As for tolerating mood stabilizers-what's easy for one person might be harsher for another. You never know until you try something. Really.

Yep, I love lithium! *don't throw rocks, please!*

Heh..lithium comes from the Greek word lithos meaning rock!!

Sorry to sidetrack the thread.
