Underage21
I don't know if the writers of this site ever check this for new and weird side-effects, but I figured this one was freaky enough to list, and I've found confirmation that I'm not the only one to experience this phenomenon. Med: Risperdal Amount: .25 mg Side Effect: I'M FREAKING LACTATING (and if you're wondering, I haven't gotten laid in months) I'm really surprised that this wasn't on the drug's main page... I know it's weird, but am I the only one to have this happen?

You really need to bring this to your pdoc's attention right away. Having the hormones for this messing with everything else isn't going to help you any. Ocracoker16
No, you aren't the only one to experience this. It happened to me about 2 years ago. My obgyn sent me as a 20 year old to see a surgeon. I was so worried, but they finally figured it out. They checked my blood levels for prolactin and it was in the pregnancy range. Crazymeds knows all about it and it has been discussed here before. There are some people here who have experienced it and might be able to help you. Definitely talk to your doctor about it. Katie BTW: the site creator, Jerod definitely reads the boards and the moderators here are very active on the boards. Welcome.
crazyashell
Wow underage21, I'm no expert, but at .25 mg that shouldn't happen. Isn't that a very low dose. I am a lucky one as I have found no side effects from Risperdal as long as I keep it to 1mg at bedtime. But I am not a female, and I think lactating side effects is very rare in men , but does occasionaly happen. (could be wrong there). And sorry about the not getting laid part, lol **whispers**( even though it's been a lot longer than that for me). Take care of you. CAH
