soulshards
I badly need to redo my website. I'm HTML challenged so I need a drag and drop one, or something similar to Dreamweaver.. thing is it needs to be free AND user friendly! got something called "site spinner" and it is wayy too much, more than I need. TIA.
scarlet_faery
I hear ya! I use the page builder through Geocities because I lost all memory of how to use HTML. I used to know it but my meds have made me stooooopid over the past several years. If it wasn't for page builders, I'd be lost! As for Dreamweaver or any kind of page building software...wish I could help ya. I've been asked to join all kinds of nifty little sites because of my pages, but because I don't use software to help me build my pages, I always have to turn down the invitations. Sucks! I do put in so much time and care into my websites. *waves frantically* Hey....we need software over here!!! *giggles* Maybe that'll help. headrift
I'm not much for wysiwyg editors (I use HTML-Kit), but a quick search on google turned up a few that might be what you're trying to find. <3 Google.
soulshards
thank you for the link headrift, and thanks for the tech lingo reminder (never could remember any of that jargon) wiz-E WIG. dragon drop?? still, was hoping someone who had actually used one of these had one to recommend. I made a breakthru this a.m. on the prob I had with site spinner, but now there are five more seemingly insurmountable issues..I know, RTFM
Velvet Elvis
You might want to check out mozilla composer which comes bundled with the Mozilla browser and email suite. OpenOffice.org's web-writer is also simple and easy to use. Also take a look at Nvu: http://www.nvu.com/
soulshards
thanks Velvet! why didnt I think of the browser tool? I used it before, and it worked fine. eventually I'll need to have someone *good* fix the site for me but in the mean time, it won't look like crap.
