Hi Everyone,

Im a 25 year old wife and mother of two boys.

I have a long history of mental illness, with Major Depression including hospitalisation, dating back to when I was about 15.

I have always been a severely paranoid person and scared to seek professional help in case they either dont believe me, want to lock me up or want to take my kids away, or one of a million other anxiety/paranoia ridden reasons. So between the ages of about 16 and 25 I have had no professional help, merely my local General Prac to load me up on new Antidepressants and Valium to try best to keep me sane.

Well I recently hit an all time low, the lowest ive been in over 6 years, so I decided it was time to get some help, so I am now seeing a Pdoc and soon hoping to also see a Tdoc.

Im 100% sure im Bipolar I with rapid cycling and im certain I will be diagnosed with it soon, but have only had my first appt with my Pdoc, so thats asking a bit much for the first visit!

Also certain that I have GAD and some form of persoanality disorder, along with my panic attacks, social phobia and what seems to be either OCD or some form of mild delusions.

My 6 year old son has ADHD and is about to be also Dx with either AS or ASD, so needless to say my stress levels are always high.

My husband is great, but im sure my mental illnesses get in the way of our relationship and as soon as I can stop the anxiety and paranoi I want to tell him more about what goes on in my little world.

Not sure what else to say, I dont know who my father is (well I think I do, but will leave that for another time!) and my mother died almost 6 years ago. My mother was a drug addict and schizophrenic.

Oh and I live in Australia.
