How do you get pictures on your profile?

Hey ya'll how do I get my picture to go into my posts? I don't know if I'm sleep deprived or just downright inept. i can't seem to get it to work.

Click on "my controls" at the top of the screen. on the left is a column of different configuration options. In the "personal profile" section are "edit avatar settings" and "change personal photo." Those are the ones you want.
