rash yes/no?

I have been to the neuro. more than I care to remember for the past year. So I will not be hauling off for his "opinion" of the scratchy spots on my back that have been annoying me for a few days now. Anyone have a "saved" photo of the rash THEY had to deal w/? I have seen more than enough of the same photo on the net.

Could the lowering of the dose & then upping it cause a rash? I've been tossing the level like a couple of boiled eggs in the past 3 months. I restarted 50mg's 4 days ago. Since the doubled eyes returned I am now intending to drop it back so I can see correctly.

I haven't seen the rash, but it seems that just about any change you undergo (dose increase definitely counts) could precipitate onset of the rash. A change in shampoo/conditioner/skincare products could do it, and so could a change in sleep habits, a change in other meds--really any change, it seems.

I don't have photos of my rash, but it didn't annoy me - it made me want to scream and it kept spreading until I stopped taking the lamictal. Really, I was miserable - within two days it covered my entire stomach, thighs, and back. I had to take aveeno baths and get a prescription cream for it to go away. This happened to me as soon as I went from 12.5 mgs to 25 mgs.
