Well, I am 29 years old and live in the Midwest. Five years ago in June I went to the hospital for the first time and was diagnosed with depression with psychotic features. Looking back now, I know that I was extremely manic at the time. My bp diagnosis came in August of 2005. I started taking 100 mg of Lamictal and things were great! I was able to take two graduate level courses while working fulltime. My mood was stable for about five months when in January of 2006 I had my next round of mania. It was very similar to the first. I was taken to the hospital again and went back five more times that year until August. That is all for now. I will write more about my hospitalizations as there are a lot of stories to tell there!

Bloggingbipolar, you are welcome to continue this thread, but we also have blogs. If you look at the bar at the top of the page, it says "Blogs" and you can click on it and go there.

If you tell your life story there, I think more people will read it. You can allow comments, or not, as you wish.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you are welcome to move to Blogsville if you would like to write more.
