Russ
Echolalia? Was just wondering what that ment? Is repeating a heard word out loud, the same as writing a heard word repetively? Weird question I know. Echolalia is a common thing with autism and pervasive developmental disorders. It involves repeating words or phrases that have been heard or read, most of the time it is done so out of context. For example, if someone hears a commercial on the radio, they may repeat what they heard in the commercial for no apparent reason. It technically doesn't apply to writing, because it involves echoing words in the form of speech, hence the term echolalia.
