fluffybirdie
Hi. I'm sorta new to psych meds and hope I'll feel better. I just started Lexapro yesterday and feel sooooo sleepy. I'll switch to taking it at bedtime with my ambien, but feel like a total butt for sleeping mid day. Is it ok and excusable during a time like this? many thanks, birdie
OnlyZ
With a new med it takes a few weeks to get used to the effects, and to learn how to deal with the minor side effects. There is nothing wrong with needing to lay down due to some unexpected drowsiness. Go get some rest .
null0trooper
Unless it gets you fired from work or you miss a critical uni exam, it really won't hurt you to spend part of a day in bed. Shifting the sleepycrazymeds to PM dosing and making an effort to get on a regular sleep schedule are two things that usually help.
