diamondgirl
Ok well my pdoc just suggested lowering my lilthium to 300XR 2X a day, from 450MgER 2x a day because f tremors. Now i was just wandering if this an ok dose, or too low, and if i am going to feel worse or not. My level right now is ok, except of the tremors. I think she might try to wean me off but not sure. Silver
It's not so much about the dose as it is about the level. Trying a small reduction in order to reduce tremor is a pretty common response. Give it a go. You can always go back up if you need to.
Guest Guest
Thanks Silver, i have been on the 300 mgs. twice a day since tuesday night. I found out she put me back on the SR formula. I still feel very tired and am very nervous about the decrease, since i have been on that dose for a little while now, previously on 1200 mgs. and was nervous about lowering that too but felt fine. I think i am more nervous about if she is planning on stopping it since i have been on lithium for like 5 years now. But like you said i can always raise it back up again. But i guess i will just have to wait and see. Thanks.
AirMarshall
Lithium has a half life of about 24 hours so it will take about 5 days to reach a steady blood state. So from Tuesday evening that would be Sunday night. a.m.
