psychocandy
Been on it for 3 1/2 weeks now. 10 days initially at 20Mg, then 40Mg since then. Been a bit better the last few weeks. Pretty up and down though unfortunately. Anybody else?
Greenyflower
Celexa was the first antidepressant I tried and have regretted stopping it many times. It took four weeks to even begin to feel better, but from then on it was a huge help.

Artemisia
You may have to wait up to 2 months of being on a stable dose to find out whether it works for you. If any side effects don't go away within the first couple of weeks, though, then they're there to stay, so as usual, it comes down to a compromise between the drug's effectiveness and its side effects. Good luck!

Velvet Elvis
It's a quirk of SSRIs that many of them don't work as well the second time around. I'm on it presently. I'm not cured by any means but it keeps my anxiety in check.
Greenyflower
Yup. I did try it again, and it's shiny new cousin Lexapro. Neither worked.
