Crazymrdada
Effexor did this, among other things to me. Was one of the multitude of reasons that I quit Effexor. The side effects were just intolerable, esp weighed against the benefits that I wasn't getting.
AirMarshall
Heart palpitations or missing a beat can be caused by anxiety. I just had it happen to me last week for the first time in several years. It felt like a flutter in my chest with a bit of breathlessness. I had forgotten what it felt like. School, hurting my back and some family things just piled on me. Try to use your strategies to calm down. Take a walk, a warm bath, exercise, go visit with a good freind. Be sure to mention this to your pdoc at next visit. It may be time for a med adjustment. Best, a.m.
celestia
I often get this when I'm anxious and especially if I'm in the throws of an anxiety attack. Tachycardia, which I've also had, is a different beast, and, to rule it out, you should mention it to your docs. Better safe than sorry!
