Just a quick question since everyone here is so helpful ;) :

About a year ago I took a 150mg tablet of Trazadone/Desryl for depression & sleep, instead of knocking me out I felt and saw fireworks going off in my head.  There were tons of strong, repetative thoughts (that I can't remember- something about a king I think) and I could NOT stop moving my arms, legs, everything until 5am.  I tried it again with smaller doses and it was the same thing.  In smaller doses.

Anyone else experience this on this or any other medication?

Thank you.

Tia

I was on 300mg trazadone for my midnight dose.  Can't say it did that to me though.  Knocked me out flat.  Only thing completely negative, ok a couple, are EXTREME WILD DREAM patterns(lifelike) and trazadone hangover when trying to wake up.  Gosh, the dreams are so real ;)

The non-stop movement happens to me on antipsychotics and is one of the worst feelings I've ever felt.  I'm pretty sure the weird thought patterns can happen with all ADs and that is why they warn against "suicidal ideation," especially among kids, so much.
