Isocole
Hello I am depressed, have been for many years. My 18 year old son suicided in 1995,so since then. I am just putting in time, scared to go but hate it here. I am on wellbutrin and fluvoxamine at this time but have tried them all I think. I do like valium too and it helps me to sleep but I think I am more depressed the day after i take it. I am boring and although I do work I would rather stay in the house all the time. Life has nothing for me,but what right do I have to sentence my survivng children and husband to my purgatory? Anyhow, hope to gain something.....insight maybe? Littlewing
Welcome to Crazyboards...I won't go into my "advocating the wonderfulness of Crazyboards" speech...just suffice to say, I love this place and the people here are fantastic. So sorry to hear about your son. I can't imagine how it must feel to lose a child, you have my deepest sympathies. You will find lots of support and caring here. I know I have. BPCharlotte
Just wanted to add my welcome, and say that things can change for the better for ANYONE. Just coming here is another step in the right direction. I really can't imagine what you had to go through, and I am sorry for your loss. However, there are always different strategies, different meds, different therapists to try. I'd like to say much more, but now is not the time to be overwhelmed by advice from the queen of rambling!!! Hope we can make you feel a little less alone and a little more understood.
