papertrees
I was put on 6mg invega, 5mg abilify, 25mg topamax and 50mg lamictal. Started yesterday. I'm titrating up the lamictal and titrating down the topamax. My pdoc said that the abilify will offset any negative effects that invega will have on me, like weight gain, hyperglycemia, etc. Does this sound right? And is my cocktail okay for breakthrough psychosis and mood stabilization?
netsavy006
In only one book, I've read that Abilify can be used to help offset weight gain from other meds that induce it but I've never heard of using Abilify to help prevent hyperglycemia from other meds.
