A Canadian Survey about Attitudes towards the Mentally Ill

A Canadian study finds that the stigma against the mentally ill is still alive and healthy...

(To be honest, I have no idea how reliable telephone and online surveys are; I studied ecology and evolution in undergrad, so I never had to design any opinion surveys*. I can ask my friend who's in grad school for social/evol psych. Or someone here can enlighten me.)

*That said, I know from studying risk assessment that minute differences in wording of questions (and possible answers) can have profound effects on people's responses.

Telephone can be fairly good, depending on who they select and how and all the usual stuff. Online ones are nearly always totally useless, for a huge number of reasons.

Yeah, sample selection can make all the difference, I guess.
