beetle
Just wanted to document this for anyone else who finds themselves as lucky. I seem to be having the same anorgasmia from trileptal that I had on SSRI/SNRI type medications. I don't know what kind of connection trileptal can have here but it has just started now that I've been on it for several weeks and just recently titrated to 600mg. Lucky me. I don't get it. Why would it do this? I didn't think sexual side effects were part of the joys of ACs. eta: Oh yeah... I'm a girl, btw. That might be useful info. I had that happen to me with Trileptal, although to a much, much lesser degree and at a much higher dose, and also Topamax. Both of them, and stuff like Tegretol, affect the levels of some enzymes in your liver, and among other things, those are partly responsible for certain hormone levels. In some people, that can throw off the balance between/levels of the sex hormones enough to result in side effects like those.
