Ms. Universe (Venezuela) and Guantanamo Bay

Found this linked off of Yahoo news:

MIAMI (Reuters) - A "relaxing, calm, beautiful place" may not be everyone's description of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where the United States holds about 240 prisoners in a detention center that has drawn condemnation from around the world.

But this was the opinion of reigning Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela, who visited the U.S. naval facility in eastern Cuba this month on a trip organized by the United Service Organizations (USO) which supports U.S. troops............

I don't know what to say about this. I hope the Obama administration gets in on closing Gitmo ASAP before the rest of the world presses official charges against the United States. And I hope Hugo Chavez is ready to explain this confused beauty queen's comments.

Note that Chavez is the same man who remarked that Sarah Palin ('08 VP hopeful) was "nothing but a confused beauty queen".

Him and Castro must not get along or something...... or he just likes throwing sarcastic remarks at the US, Gitmo is "US property" that Cuba doesn't want there, anyways. The beaches, I assume, are Cuba's.
