sdjeff
Hello, My pdoc just threw 200 mg of thorazine into this clusterfuck called my cocktail. To be honest, I feel much better. I'm less irritable and less anxious. The problem is all these side effects. I can't change or sub anything but I'm like the walking dead. To make matters worse, my pain doc wants to increase my my morphine. I declined even though I'm in a good deal of pain. I don't know what to do besides flush it all down the toilet. It's all such a convoluted mess I don't know what to do and my docs seem equally clueless. I dunno. I just had to vent.
pixie_b
Doing better is good, walking dead is bad. While I have never taken thorazine myself I have seen the benefit of it when my mom was having a very hard time after her divorce. She only took it for a few months, but it really did help. I just wish she had gotten it before she took a sledge hammer to my bathroom tile. oh well. I hope the zombified feeling goes away soon.
withing
^^^ what she said (I meant what susanb said). Also, are your pain doc and your pdoc working together? I know how compartmentalized each doctor can get... hey, didn't I just post something about that?
Corvid
Sorry about the zombification. It's awesome, though, to hear that there's at least some light in your universe. You've had a really rough time lately, so I'm thrilled that there's some kind of improvement. I hope the side effects diminish and go away soon! scatty
I'm glad you're feeling better. I hope the s/e ease up soon!
celestia
Okay, I'm stupid, what is the thorazine supposed to do for you? I'm not surprised you need more morphine. Are you? habituation being what it is. Especially with dem hard core narcotics. Whatever you do, DONT throw it all in the shitter. I know you won't but still, now THAT would be one hell of a clusterfuck. Seriously. I'm glad to you are having a modicum of relief on some level. You of all people deserve every bit of relief you can manage.
sdjeff
S9-Thorazine is an old school AP. Most pdocs these days use it as a Chill Pill, Which was exactly what I needed, despite my long, long list of meds. And yes, habituation is a bitch. I'm trying to hold off as long as I can. BTW I was already a zombie before. This thorazine just makes it more intense. My docs kinda communicate but I'm the middleman. I'm not the best middleman. Everyone else-Thanks for your kind words and encouragement.
Phoenix_Rising
Hi! Good to hear that things are a bit better. I, too, am in the land of zombification. It doth royally suck ass. I'm sorry to hear that your pain has worsened. I can understand why you're holding off on the morphine increase. That must be a tough battle to wage. Take care, sdjeff! Peace, Phoenix
