Ashdene
Hi! I'm taking 300mgs of seroquel at night to help me sleep plus a few other things. But i was wondering how long do you wait till you feel the effects. Should it be kicking in after half an hour or two hours. I seem to be waiting quite some time before i feel any affect?? lots of love Asdene xox
tryp
What works for me is taking it about an hour before I intend to go to sleep. But when I get the effects seems to vary from half an hour to two hours. But mostly it's around an hour.
Phoenix_Rising
Hi Ash, I agree with tryp; about an hour, on average. I hope you have good results, doll. Peace, PR

Ashdene
Thanx for the advice!! I was just wondering cause i often take it and it takes so long to kick if it does, so woner about the dose. Do you think that your tolerance goes up too ? Since the begining of the year i have gone from 50mg for sleep to 300 and still find i take sneakily extra to get me to sleep? Or think its just that i been having a rough patch. Thanx guys Love Ash xox
tryp
I don't know about tolerance, but for me, only certain doses are good for sleep. Nothing above or below 150 mg makes me sleep, and I think other people have similarly particular checkpoints. But I think it's definitely within the realm of possibility to get used to the sedation, since it's technically a side effect.
