Zyprexa sexual side effects

Hi.

I've been taking zyprexa 5mg a day for a while now and I suspect it is killing my sex drive. What is your experience with zyprexa? Did it kill you from the waist down or has it been ok? How common are zyprexa's sexual side effects? Thanx.

That depends. What other meds are you on? How long has this side effect lasted for you? Could it have started before the zyprexa?

You are talking about one of the most potent psychiatric medications out there. Well, one of the most potent atypical antipsychotic, anyway. And when you start messing with the chemicals and enzymes that zyprexa and all the other mental meds do, you're gonna have side effects. And libido is frequently the first thing to go.

So work with your medications, especially if they are working for you. And think quality over quantity.
