Alien.
Been on it for a while... hrmm... six months? idk. It makes me less impulsive, but I... not totally in the abyss, but near to it. What should I do? Everyone tells me it's working and I'm tricking myself into thinking it's not...
tryp
It's working but you're tricking yourself into thinking it's not? How would that work, exactly? Six months is definitely enough time to see how a med is going to play with your system. What does your psychiatrist have to say? The first step is definitely to talk to them about it, since they're the only person who can mess with your meds. Sorry things are still awful. chimpmaster
Its quite possible that a dosage adjustment might help. You are only on 30mg. The typical range is 20-80mg. I personally am on 60mg and find it to be very effective.

Right, so I think what I meant was maybe I'm expecting too much from it.. idk.. My head won't work anymore.
Artemisia
I'd try increasing the dose before ditching Prozac altogether.
tryp
Hmm, okay. Again, this is a good thing to take up with your psychiatrist - questions about what to expect from your medication and what is reasonable and suchlike.
