kellmate
Today I noticed I was starting to get a rash on the side of my face. I'm not on my lamictal atm bc I haven't been able to get my scripts filled, but tey gave me free samples of the abilify. Could this rash be from abilify? Is this another drug that my doc should have warned me about?
rowen
Abilify isn't known for it's rashy-ness. Theoretically anything could cause a rash, though. Getting checked out by a dermatologist is your best bet.
deathray
Actually, according to what I've seen online listed as potential side effects, abilify can cause a rash. I have it too and I think it's from abilify. I never had a rash like this before taking abilify. I didn't have a rash from it for several months after I started taking it, though. I wonder if winter contributes or not. Well, anyway, I wasn't too worried about it at first, especially since aquiphor (great moisturizer) seems to help get rid of it if I apply it every day consistantly, but I did some more googling and some sources say it's a sign that you're allergic to the medication and you should stop taking it and call a doctor. I've been trying to wean off it slowly anyway because I was worried about weight gain and effects on blood sugar and insulin.
