Guest Guest_joe_*
I've been on Pristiq since mid-March and I'm hungrier than usual and have gained 7-10 pounds-which is not good for me. Before that I was on Zoloft for a long time. Had lost 90 lbs. and got rid of diabetes. I also belong to Curves now and go 2-4 times a week and I go to weight watchers sporadically. I'm still trying to lose weight, but I'm not sure if Pristiq is helping me or hurting me on weight. Took sinequan about 15 years ago and I gained 30 pounds before the Dr. told me that's what my problem was. So any body else have this problem?? null0trooper
"pestiq" may be funny, but "Pristiq" as a topic title may get you more useful feedback. Had lost 90 lbs. and got rid of diabetes. I've never heard of a cure for diabetes, although with a reduction in body fat blood sugar may be more controllable with dietary measures. I'm still trying to lose weight, but I'm not sure if Pristiq is helping me or hurting me on weight. Took sinequan about 15 years ago and I gained 30 pounds before the Dr. told me that's what my problem was. So any body else have this problem?? Sinequan is rather different from Pristiq, in action and effects. Still, one of the reported adverse effects (RxList on Pristiq) is loss of appetite and possibly even weight loss. I'm not sure if the numbers are reported in relation to placebo (in which case there is a limited risk of weight gain)
