crzygowing
I just found this site and have liked what I've read. Just when I thought I was alone, I have read other peoples stories who's are similar too me. I am 41 and suffer from depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue and bi-polarII. The biggest problem I'm having now is my weight. It all started when I got on the med Seroquel. I gained over 30 pounds in literally a couple of week period. I now have a serious nightime eating problem. I can't stop and no one seems to understand!! If anyone can relate to me I'd appreciate a response. tryp
Welcome to CrazyBoards I have depression and anxiety as well - it's a killer combination. I am on Seroquel and I'm not happy about my weight, though I haven't gained a huge amount. Hope you like it here as much as I do.

darkthorn
Welcome (even though I don't have any experience with Seroquel, I do have the depression/anxiety combo in common, so we'll likely be on the same boards)
Inspired_Neurosis
Howdy there. I'm on Seroquel as well, but haven't experienced the oft-reported weight gain. In my case, it might be beneficial... Anyways, enjoy CB.
MistyGypsy
Greetings & welcome! I haven't been on Seroquel either but I had a massive appetite increase & weight gain on Avanza (mirtazipine). Sucks, don't it? I really felt that once I started eating in the evening I could not stop. I've recently begun taking lithium & that's meant to be another bad one for weight gain, although I haven't noticed any appetite increase so far. Isn't it great to have people to talk about this stuff with? The support & guidance available on CB is amazing. Catch you 'round Misty
olga
Welcome to Crazyboards! If you want to talk to more people about your weight gain, we have a forum about side effects that might be helpful. I guarantee if you post there with "weight gain" in the title, lots of members will compare notes with you. Good luck, and I agree with the suggestion that you need to empty your house of attractive snacks. It's just too easy to binge if you have the stuff around. olga
