Hello, I am not a lurker

Recommended Posts

Hiya...COOL NAME! :)

You're right, it DOES have a lot of stuff. I tend to just stick to what I know, whilst trying to support others along the way.

Glad to hear that you felt that you couldn't lurk and wanted to join up. I doubt very much that you will regret that decision. CB is a wonderful and very supportive place to be.

There isn't a standard introduction at all. You say what you want and what you are comfortable revealing about yourself.

Walks by the beach are nice...but if you read the rules, we also like to talk about nipple clamps!!! Just joking (sort of) ;):)

In any case, welcome to CrazyBoards, glad to have you aboard, and look forward to seeing you around the forum.

LW

And PS: Although it's going to make me sound like a complete and utter arse-licker, the Mods really ARE great and very approachable!

hello, thank you.

someone told me about this but i really don't know who she is.

about walks by the beach i'm really not a fan, because you know, if you're wearing flip flops you'll get sand between your toes, if you're wearing shoes could be worse, there could be traces of piss and dog poo.

it is worrying.

hi. hello.

wow this forum has a lot of stuff. so i couldn't lurk.

that means I am REALLY new.

so what's the standard introduction thing?

i like walks by the beach etc?

Hi, not a lurker.

No standard intro. Talk about anything you want. Maybe even your brain cooties.

i take it as you haven't understood the glory of the flip flops yet.

Hahahaha...no, definitely not! ;)

I had jaw problems a while back, I think it was due to the amount of clenching and tooth grinding I was doing, but it wasn't at all nice. It has abated somewhat, but it's taken months! Bear with it.

You like me cos I'm from London? Hahahahaha...a good deal of people I meet in London are right wankers, but I hope that I'm not one of them (except perhaps, in the privacy of my own home!) ;)

Sorry, I just don't know what's wrong with my mind today, it seems to have stopped off at the sewer on the way to work, and never bothered to rendezvous with my hat support structure (i.e. my head. unless I confused anyone with that garbage)!

Not entirely sure what you mean 'subscribe to threads', but I'm sure there will someone along in a bit who can give you more technical information about the board.

I tend to do the "view new posts" bit when I get online, to see what traffic has been going on since I last logged in.

I think you can get an email notification of when a thread you have posted in has had a response, but I haven't used that.

Give one of the mods a shout if nobody else can give you an idea.

In the top right of the first post, there s a tab that says options. Click it and click "track this topic".

I've never used it before, but I bet that's what it does.

Welcome to CB ;)

Additionally, there is a "view new posts" button in the top-ish right of the screen. That helps keep track of what's going on.
