helenllama
Ok... Getting to sleep no problemo - as long as I have been nowhere near water, because although calming it wakes me up and makes me more alert... Reading is my number one way to get to sleep, yes poor sleep hygeine but it is me until urm yeah... Some nights I need music in the background so I can get to sleep. 5am I am awake enough to get up.... but I have be told not a good idea. Although could go for a swim before it gets busy when the road reopens.... Any ideas to keep me asleep past this 5am mark, although will mention it to the pdoc when I see her replacement in 6 weeks time...
Mayteana
First off, what time are you going to sleep that has you are waking up at 5am? How many hours of sleep are you actually getting? Is it consistently 5am that you wake up? Does something happen at 5am that could be disturbing you - garbage trucks outside, a neighbor making noise, etc? Details woman, I need details! ~ May
helenllama
It is consistantly 5am I am waking up after getting to sleep around midnight. So that would make it around 5 to 5 and a half hours.... and should i go back to sleep I actually have to move My street is usually pretty silent at that time. The scaffy men come around 8 or later.... I just suppose it is my body's way of saying that I have had enough sleep *sigh* either that or I am slightly hypomanic... Would you still wake up at 5am? For example if you started going to sleep at 11:45 every night, and found that you still woke up at 5, you could then try 11:30, etc... Also, do you aways have trouble getting enough sleep - or are there times when you sleep too much? ~ May
helenllama
last night was well worse. Awake urm virtually every hour. And awake enough to look at the clock and realise the time, even if not to remember it. And I usually go to sleep between half-11 and 12 midnight... last night it was just after. helenllama
I went to sleep at around 3 last night and was awake by 8. What is the minimum amount of sleep required for an adult?
