frederick
Hello I've been taking just 12.5 mg Seroquel for sleep and it knocks me out for 9 hours. During the rest of the day I feel a bit depressed and very tired. Is it a wise idea to use Wellbutrin or some other drug to perk up during the day? I tend toward mixed states, but the Seroquel sends me into depression. This has been going on for about 2 months now. I though the sleepiness would go away. Thanks frederick BP NOS Current Meds 12.5 Seroquel trileptal and valium as needed
Duelist
I took it for like two months. It did nothing for the BP II and I was depressed about having to take it, it knocked me out too. I would say it's time to try something else if you're still feeling depressed, I took it with wellbutrin and it still knocked me out. It's a very sedating drug at low doses. Good luck with your prescirbing professional, I hope they are able to help you get the relief you need soon.
AirMarshall
If your tolerance hasnt' built up after two months then you might try splitting the tab and taking half the dose. sounds like it is working well for the intended sleep aid. Seroquel has mostly sleepy effects at very low dosages like this and fewer psych effects. Best, a.m.
