CaptainYaaar
Im on Prozac 20mg and I cannot feel or think at all. Totally unfeeling and apathetic. I have a paper due and Im needing help with that (totally unusual for me). I can't think, I can't write.....is this typical or Prozac? Will it wear off? If I get the pdoc's ok to stop the Prozac how long will it take to stop the brain fog? Are there withdrawals?
SashaSue
I don't think that's especially typical for Prozac, but who knows? What other meds are you on? How long have you been on the Prozac? If you do decide to stop it, the good news is that prozac is a really easy taper. It has a nice long half life, you shouldn't have any trouble with it. SashaSue
Have you felt this way the whole time, or is it a new thing?
Guest drock
From my understanding this is quite usual. Especially when building up when your just getting on it. But it seems you have been on for a while. Could still possibly happen though. Also assuming your on it for anxiety/panic disorder/gad /OCD something along those lines-means your serotonin deficient which comes along with all the derealization/confusion/brainfog. I have this happen alot, like i'm staring through a cloud, i try to do it and tell myself to work but it seems impossible sometimes. I probably shouldn't make recomendations cause i dont qualify for that haha but i'd say wait and see if it goes away in the next weeks maybe? I dont know your time schedule though so do whatever you thinks best. Sometimes when this happens it best to just walk away from it and do something that takes your mind off it(usually i'm off thinking of something) then come back when it starts to feel a bit better.
