jaffy
I'm about to raise my risperdal to 1.5mg. Would there be any benefit in splitting up the dose? Like maybe .75 twice a day or .5 morning and 1.0 evening? How do you prefer to take your risperdal? All at once or divided up? Did you experience any drowsiness issues taking it in the morning? If so did it subside over time? I would actually prefer to take it all at night but the thing is I tend to be a bit squirrely in the daytime. thanks
Anelize
I take my whole 4mg at night. It makes me too drowsy to split the dose.
mika
I take 1.5mg at night because a morning dose makes me tired.

AnneMarie
I take my 3mg along with the rest of my meds at night. Net effect is one big much needed sleeping pill. I'm guessing that I could do a low dose in the moring w/o much problems. Maybe.
Swamp56
You're going to raise your risperdal? Do you have doctor consent? If not, I wouldn't mess around with medications.

Don't worry, I have the doctors consent. He said I could go up to 1.5 max if I need to "Go up to 1.5 if you agitation is not under control".
