Im about to explode Im so upset

My "friend" is acting like a real fuckin bitch. I swear Im about to tell her off like I've never told anyone off before. Im just afraid that I may regret it later. Lately she has gotten so selfish. Everything is about her. She puts her husband down, wont let him join the gym even though he should for his health because it's "her" place. She got mad at me because I couldn't go to this thing with her. I couldn't afford it, but yet she kept asking over and over, then was mad at me. Well, sorry I decide to pay my bills and buy groceries for my family before I go off to play. But this thing she wanted me to go to was all about HER. That's all she talked about, HER, HER, HER. The other day we were talking and I was really stressed about something. I started to talk to her about it, and she all of a sudden said, "I gotta go, bye". And, didn't call me back or anything.

Now, today on my facebook page she's got all over it about how tomorrow night is girls night, how much fun it's going to be, where should they go. I wasn't invited. I mean, I understand she has other friends, and that's all good, but usually she tells me about it. I feel like she's just shoving it in my face. Im just so mad, upset, sad, I want to cry, bust her face, delete her from facebook, I don't know. Im just so frustrated. Ugh!!!!!!!

I hate that awful angry feeling. It might be a good idea to wait until you are a bit calmer before you contact her or delete her from facebook. It does sound a bit selfish that she wasn't willing to listen to you when you were distressed. Has she been a good friend in the past? Maybe she didn't realize that she hurt you.

If you already told her that you couldn't go to something because of the money, could she have assumed that you wouldn't be able to go to the girls night either?

Of course it could just be that she is a bitch and you can either discontinue the friendship or treat it more superficially if you enjoy doing fun things with mutual friends. I have some friends that I can lean on and others that I simply socialize with.
