Swamp56
It usually takes a medicine like Pristiq up to 3-4 weeks to get into the system.

TheTrishgu
I think I'm finally getting somewhere with this medication. I have had 3 days in a row without a low point! 3 days!!!!! It all started with a migraine the other day. I wanted to pull my eyeballs out, but after it was gone it was like this crazy turning point. I am a believer! TheTrishgu
I'm waiting for my pristiq to kick in also. This is the longest month of my life. (and there's been some long ones) has the Pristiq kicked in for you yet? It's been 3.5 weeks and I'm STILL waiting. Losing faith. I may just go back to Lexapro... Yes! I increased to 100mg this past saturday and it was like BOOM! I really needed the increase. I don't have many side effects. A little nauseous here and there, but it's short-lived. I don't know if you need an increase or a change, but you should be getting somewhere soon.

Just have to suck up the extra expense unfortunately. As they say, each drug reacts differently to each person.
