ooh_shiny!
So I've been taking abilify for the past 2 weeks, and lately ive noticed that my jaw hurts and feels tired like its been chewing gum all day or like ive been clenching my teeth. is it that..thing..i can't think of the name right now, but where you can start twitching on antipsychotics? i know my pdoc warned me that it can look like you are chewing gum. im just wondering if i might not have noticed ive been moving my mouth without noticing and if im starting to get that symptom. Just a wild guess but you could be clenching your teeth at night. When I first started geodon I went through a short period where I clenched my teeth so hard while sleeping that I would wake up with sore teeth, my jaw and sometimes a headache. I was afraid it might be TD related and asked my pdoc. She said the clenching wasn't even related to the geodon but I never did it before and just started it when I started the med. But the clenching seems to have gone away.
ooh_shiny!
So I called my doctor and she said that the muscle twitching in my cheeks, leg pain, AND jaw pain was all from the Abilify...wonderful....well at least I know where its coming from!
