mollymirror
I started Stalevo ( CARBIDOPA/LEVODOPA/ENTACAPONE); orginally developed for Parkinson's, now prescribed for restless leg syndrome and adjusting sleep cycles. Has anyone else tried this? Has anyone had success with it as a sleep-inducing med? Is anyone having side effects? I have a tremendous headache and slight hand tremors. Do not have Parkinson's, taking mood stabilizers (trileptol, lamictal) as well as antidepressants (Lexapro). Have tried Ambien, Lunesta--no good. Yes, I'm bipolar I. Thanks everyone Molly Mirrorshades

Thanks everyone Molly Mirrorshades <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was prescribed Klonopin for my PTSD symptoms, and my retless leg syndrome went "POOF". Lunesta wouldn't be any good as it is a straight hypnotic. Ambien...don't get me started. But Benzos, I think, especially the long acting ones (as opposed to Xanax) are the best option, at least for me.
