Anyone here exercise regularly? What do you do? Gym? Home equipment? Walk outside?

I have a treadmill and weights in my basement. I try to get on the treadmill for 30 minutes at least 3 times a week. I also have begun lifting weights.

However, the past few weeks has been an emotional and physical rollercoaster for me, so I only got one workout in this week on Monday and none last week [although we painted our house all week, so I consider that exercise].

So, how about you?

Road biking 3 to 4 times a week if I can get the time (I like to stay out about 2 hours). Weights three times a week. Running three times a week, but I'm not a really good runner, so there's some walking mixed in with that.

I used to swim several hours a day...but I heard that's not good if you're an epilectic.  Like that stops me.

- Cycle a few kilometres

- Skateboard.  Does that count?

- Good ol' fashioned pushups and crunches.  Some light weight training to keep lean muscle, not the big jocularlookatmeiamabodybuilder muscles.

- Racquetball

I do TeaBow, I walk about 4 miles at least 6 times a week, I play street hockey with my son. I garden, I ride bikes with my son. In the winter when its too cold to walk.. I will do the tea bow each day.. I only do it 3 times a week now. I love to walk. I always have. But when its icey out.. forget it. I am too parinoid of falling.

I am training for my black belt in kickboxing - so training 5 to 6 days a week for that (1hr + sessions) and then swim on Sundays.  Besides normal walking all over the place, housework, gardening etc...

The problem is that I am still fat for my height!!  Read size 14!!  DAMN

I swim 1000 yards a day, and I run 8 minutes daily.  I am working up to 4000 yards in the pool and a half hour of running with no stops.  Hopefully, by January.

I want to start working out with weights, but I don't know where to begin.

Best,

Chris
