Bryan
Do you have to be over 18 to read and post messages on this board? Or are people or their partners who are sexually active allowed to view and post to this board? (especially if the patient or one's partner is on crazy meds)? tigrre
just an opinion (not official) perspective: I'm not particularly active on this board, I don't read every post, but from my general impression nothing on this board is really obscene or pornographic. juliangawker
Ohhh, age is just a number. I lost my virginity at 13, so I think some rated-R talk on an internet message board wouldn't have affected me too much at that age. It's tame compared to what you can read anywhere else on the internerd or on cable. Getting online sex advice/tips from a bunch of crazy people might be better than from your 12 year old best friend who spends hours looking at various fetish websites. Or it might be worse. Maybe both. So, to summarize in one sentence: 13+ is probably the minimum, just as most websites "require" for visiting and/or sending information (think kids websites, etc). SnaiLuv
I was on Zoloft for a while, as a teenager (about 15 or 16) and damn! Pretty bad sexual side effects. Luckily I made a point of reading the prescription sheets. Teens have just as much of a chance of having sexual side effects as those who are of age....it's very good for them to have accurate and available information about these things, and the meds they are taking! Especially since when you're a teenager you're much less likely to be discussing this kind of thing with parents or doctors!
