vectorgirl
Oh dear I'll eat everything after Benedryl. I wonder if Claritin does that.
koali777
I have never experienced this and I used to take 7 a night for sleep. But everyone is different.
melpomene
sudafed that you have to get from the pharmacy counter and sign for (not the one on the shelf) makes me forget to eat.
OscillateWildly
Yes, absolutely. The reason seroquel makes people so hungry is because it blocks histamine. This is also how benadryl works. Seroquel (low dose for agitation/insomnia) is like a souped up benadryl. Histamine blocker, sedates you, lowers all alerting neurotransmitters, but it will also make you hungry as hell. olga
I have an off-and-on runny nose this time of year that I assume is some kind of allergy, so I take Benedryl a few nights a week just to turn off the faucet. It doesn't make me sleepy, and it doesn't make me hungry. olga

I thought about this connection. It makes me soooo hungry and once I've eaten I just wanna eat more and more. It takes about a day to wear off.
