Yet Another Tread About Abilify

I've been taking Abilify since March/April and it's been making me hyper or feel strange. The hyperness happens only when I take 5mg But it never fails. It's the 'I'm going to crawl out of my skin if I don't start moving' feeling. Anybody else get this reaction or am I a freak?

I feel the same effect at 5mg.  I have been taking it for about 6 weeks now.  I drive people insane with non-stop talking.  Its like I physically cannot be quiet.

I also have to always be going, going, going.  Doesn't matter where, I just need to GO!

You may be experiencing akathisia which can be a side effect of antipsychotics.  There are meds that can help reduce this problem.

I had bad akathisia (agitation/anxiety/inner restlessness) at 10mg/day when it took it one time last year.

I'm just  on my second week at 15 mg. a day, but also started 300 mg. Luvox at the same time.  Can't tell what comes from which, but I am alternating between headaches and nausea almost continually.

I'm going through it to from zyprexa it sucks. I can't wait for this stuff to be out of my system.
