scatty
I am in the process of switching pdocs because of his dismissive attitude. It just might take forever to get a new one due to the overload at the clinic I'm starting to go to. Maybe getting into Partial will speed things up, but I'm not holding my breath. Soon to be old pdoc said lithium should be taking care of my depression! Then why am I still almost suicial every god damn day?! Should I tell the partial intake person what I am going through here? Will they even care? It seems no one does!
Catnapper
Sorry you're in such a bad place and have to switch pdocs, always a royal pain. I would mention to whoever you talk to you that you're having suicide thoughts and that it's important to see someone right away. Good luck to you. In the meantime, we're always here listening, and have been where you're at.

rollercoaster
If you are being treated at a "clinic"...and are on a waiting list to see a doc, if you call their crisis hotline indicating you are having suicidal thoughts you will be moved up to priority...and get in quick. I was on a list to see a pdoc and was told it would be 2 months...i called and was in and on meds in less than a week. hang in their my friend.
