Ok...so I'm new

Recommended Posts

ok...so i'm new...obviously... This is my first post and i have to say i'm really enjoying reading what everyone has to say. i've found a lot of helpful info and everyone seems kind and ready to help or just listen to those who are reaching out. i've never used a forum like this and i'm not sure if i'm doing it right, but it's nice to know there are others out there that are familiar with some of the things i'm going through.

my (former) pdoc says this... bp2, mdd, gad, social anxiety. taking lamictal, cymbalta, remeron and ambien. thanks for reading.

Welcome, nuala! When I posted here 5 or 6 years ago, this was the first place for me, too.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, and the mods will help you with anything you don't understand.

I hope we can help you in some way.

Don't worry too much. You have to be pretty far out to go far wrong: knowing we are all quirky, we are pretty tolerant.,

and if you do tread on someone's toes inadvertently a simple apology does very nicely.

Thank you everyone for making me feel welcome. Looking around and checking things out. Is there a way to make it so each time you post you don't have to adjust the font and size to your liking (sp? seems too much like licking?)?

Welcome!

Do you have a current p-doc or a new one you're looking at?

hello...i do not currently have a pdoc... had a major falling out with the last one (mostly with her office staff.) I'm currently in search of a new one that is covered by my ins and is not a complete tool. ((grin))

nuala of faerie...that's the one!

The Sandman series, superb. (I read widely and strangely)

Gaiman's Stardust was also excellent and, for once, the film as well.

Me as someone in Sandman?

Hmm. You might call me Gilbert.
