joshie Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 can someone plz answer these questions. 1. with TD is it the higher dose of an antipsychotic your on the more likely youll get it? for example suppose you take a small dose of drug " x " are u least likely to get it than if you were on a high dose of drug "x" 2. i know everyone is different but roughly how long does it take to develop TD. my pdoc says it wouldnt happen after six months but it could take as long as 5-10 years maybe. what do you guys think? thanks for your help! You're right. The longer that a person takes any dose of an AP, the higher the likely hood that they will develop TD 2. The time varies from person to person and from drug to drug.
