iv been wondering if i'm showing signs of response to my antipsychotic. iv been on invega for over 8 weeks now. delusions and other psychotic symptoms seem to be under control however i'm having a difficult time thinking normally, my memory is impaired and my mind doesn't really wander anymore, its like my thoughts have a much more limited range so to speak and at the same time they're scattered thoughts because of my tendency to daydream, so its really chaotic. also iv been feeling slightly depressed and whenever i try to sleep my brain goes to these weird places, like chaotic sleep, it doesn't feel normal at all. are these signs of having responded to the antipsychotic? i'm on strattera because of add symptoms but i don't remember my add ever getting like this and i dont think add symptoms can worsen can they? my pdoc said antipsychotics can't make you depressed or affect cognitive abilities the way i describe, but to me that seems like plain bs.

" its like my thoughts have a much more limited range so to speak "

I think that is brilliantly put. I totally relate to that. And of course antipsychotics can affect our cognition in many odd ways. Wonder if your doctor needs to try one to better understand. lol
