Kris
I am on Cymbalta and have had very few side effects. Was on Zoloft prior and had few with that either. Hope you do well
Velvet Elvis
Cymbalta comes to its full effect much faster than Effexor. The flipside of this is that it attacks your brain with a chainsaw. Expect some less than fun side effects the frist week to ten days you're at 60mgs. It should mellow out after that.
cgflann
Everything else makes me sick or freaked out. I was on Effexor a while back can expect the same sort of side effects from Cymbalta? Thanks Robin <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seems like everyone is a little different. The cymbalta did nothing for me at all, I may as well had been using tic-tacs or M&M's for antidepressants. I slept all the time and was severely depressed while I was on it. I just switched to effexor xr and so far I am very pleased with it, but it is interrupting my sleep a bit, but I heard that is normal especially early on in treatment. tyler845
When I started I felt VERY good, I just didn't like feeling like crap for 3 + weeks when I had to go off it. Everything else makes me sick or freaked out. I was on Effexor a while back can expect the same sort of side effects from Cymbalta?
