societys_glitch
Ok today is 1 week since I started Citalopram(Celexa). I am having issues with tensing my jaw alot. I try to stretch it out when I can but it is starting to give me dull headaches and I tend to yawn alot. Does this go away or is this an ongoing issue when on this med? Shortstuff
Yeah I have both the tension and the yawning. The yawning is very annoying!! Not sure if my jaw stuff is Celexa or one of my other meds. Interesting to see someone else on it mention it though.
knitten
We had that side effect from Zoloft. We were on it for years. It was only after we went off it that we realized that the "TMJ"went away. Right now we are on 40mg of Celexa-there is a little tightening but not like the Zoloft. Hope that symptom subsides for you.

luv2run
So glad you posted this... I started Zoloft today and no joke, within the hour, my neck, upper back and jaw were totally tense (sorta like TMJ symptoms)...have to keep stretching out my mouth. So frustrating. I was just online trying to see if I was the only one when I saw your post. Um, I don't have any helpful advice -- just thought I'd leave a note and tell you that I can empathize. It SUCKS. if it were the only side effect, I'd deal,....but WTF?!...one pill and I already believe it's evil...LOL...
