NuttyJoe
Hi again, sorry for annoying question, but for some reason, when I exercise while on zyprexa my anxiety goes up. My question is, is it the zyprexa + exercise? Or can exercise create anxiety in people? I can't explain it, but it seems like everytime I try to exercise since starting Zyprexa, instead of getting a runner's high, I get more anxious when I'm done. I'm trying to combat the weight gain. Edit: I also managed to quit smoking since Zyprexa and cigs didn't mix well for me. Maybe I should try another drug, I just don't know....
Guest Guest_001
Intense exercise while on certain medications or while withdrawing from medications can cause anxiety, even panic attacks. I'm not familiar with Zyprexa.
bluelikejazz
If you experience panic attacks it could be that the physiological effects of exercising are triggering the attacks, independent of the zyprexa. How long have you been on it for?
NuttyJoe
If you experience panic attacks it could be that the physiological effects of exercising are triggering the attacks, independent of the zyprexa. How long have you been on it for? Been on Zyprexa for about 3 months. It's weird, the feelings I get just aren't the same as before. Like I used to exercise all the time and I generally felt good, but on zyprexa it's different. But you're right, I do think the exercise alone might cause it, but usually i feel better. I was feeling around to see if anyone else had this happen on a drug like zyprexa or anything else.
