Stars
I am in same spot, at 40mg and it has pooped out. I can't increase as it makes me dizzy and faint and does not help. My pdoc mentioned possibly nortriptline (sp) and old AD . It is cheap and if it worked it would be great. I have used desperamine too, but it affects my memory. ( I could never take over 25 mg). HAL9000
Has anyone had any luck with Lilly Cares for help in paying for this? Were going broke enough as it is and her insurance covers zero% on prescriptions until you hit this multi K$ level.
Stars
LILLY says " LILLY CARES" but they don't' . My pdoc is giving me samples. Lilly will give you one month free trial each year(12 month period) coupon is on website. If you are on any prescription program, they will not help pay for it, including Medicare or Medicaid( which does not pay for it either). I tired a Canadian pharmacy (per pdoc) and found out that the active ingredient in Strattera is already available at reasonable prices ( compared to what usa charges) but the dosing is off. I was then on 25 mg and had to take 40 to get same affect (YMMV). it is worth a try I guess. My experience tells me that it is very much like Wellburtin and the generic buprorion (sp). They are not the same.
pseudopod
She would have to lose her insurance in order to qualify for Lily's PAP.
