Better AP for less weight gain?

Recommended Posts

I may come off APs altogether for awhile, but I usually end up on them again.

I can't deal with zyprexa anymore. I've tried everything to keep my weight down, but I can't combat the weight gain. It just seems to steadily rise. I've been on it for 3 months and I've gained 10 pounds and it keeps going up. I've tried exercise, changing diet, working long hours....fail.

Are any of the other APs better as far as weight gain goes? Need to hear from somebody who's gone through it. Thanks

Try risperdal. This med is really good at treating OCD in some people. Not as much sedation as Zyprexa which for you I don't know if that would be a good or bad thing. It mixes very well with Celexa.
