netsavy006
It's possible that it's akathisia. Couple of questions? At what dose and how long were you on the Cogentin, Artane, or Beta Blockers? (Cogentin takes about a week to work for eg.) Amantadine is an option for EPS side effects such as akathisia but the benefit must outway the potential risks should you and the doctor wish to use it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amantadine Best of Luck, Andy

netsavy006
Yes, I did get those replies. That's why I say you have to balance the possible benefits with the potential risks. Ever try benadryl? I've heard that works. I don't know how much to take and how often though. I know you can use benzodiazapines (such as ativan) as needed for this reaction too (akathisia/restlessness). I hope you find something that works. ~ Andy.

AnneMarie
Benedryl is a manufacturer name for the active ingredient Diphenhydramine HCL, which is an antihistimine. If you look in the allergy section for sneezing and runny nose of your pharmacy, you'll probably find it by another name.
