bpladybug
I bought a really cute suit online from Lane Bryant. Grey ponte knit slacks with a wide leg and a trendy grey knit jacket with a motorcycle jacket styling. It is casual and perfect for work. I wear it with a grey and raspberry striped tee or a tiger lily orange tee. I sound like a friggin commercial! lol I do not normally purchase clothing online. Since the purchase almost daily a Lane Bryant commercial appears. Especially when I am on CB. It is quite distracting because there are moving pictures of cute tops and pants flashing across my computer screen. They are tracking me. wow Does anyone understand this technology? It is a little creepy. Do they know where I am? They are attached to me. Is this a cookie? Good thing my meds are working and I am not in a paranoid mood. 0detta
I see that sort of thing, too. Not just with vendors I use, but also interests I've searched about. It is creepy.

AnneMarie
Do you know how to clear your history and cookies? For Windows, it is Tools - Internet Options. That gives you the panel to clean up this type of stuff. I'm not sure that it will solve your problem but it's a good thing to do periodically. You'll lose your cookies and passwords, btw. Be prepared to reestablish the ones you want afterwards.

Miss Blue
If you use Firefox, you can use adblock plus. It blocks nearly all ads on the internet. I can't imagine the internet without it.
